NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville Chapter of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers has named Don Yarbrough its Engineer of the Year.
It is the highest award given to an individual and recognizes Yarbrough’s outstanding and unusual contributions to his profession, to public welfare, and for the benefit of humankind.
The honor is a crowning achievement at the end of Yarbrough’s long career as a structural engineer. He joined Ross Bryan Associates in 1982 and retired from the firm at the end of 2017, after serving as company president from 2011-2016.
