Ross Bryan Project Wins ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Award

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ross Bryan Associates performed structural engineering for the Jackson Center for Music and Worship Arts, which recently won an Excellence in Development Award from the Urban Land Institute Nashville District Council.

An adaptive reuse project, the Jackson Center is on the site of an old trucking warehouse. It is a state-of-the-art facility on the Trevecca Nazarene University campus where students and the broader community can gather and perform.

Winning in the nonprofit sector, the Jackson Center was one of eight middle Tennessee projects honored during ULI Nashville’s 10th anniversary celebration at the Omni Nashville Hotel, May 8.

In addition to Ross Bryan Associates, others on the project team are Trevecca Nazarene University, Earl Swensson Associates Inc., American Constructors Inc., S&ME Inc., and Intertek PSI.

The annual awards celebrate excellence in the areas of land use, development, design, construction, and honor collaboration among development team members. Judging criteria includes design and development excellence, innovation in land use, excelling in added-value features and worthy of emulation.
